Dean spent 2½ months aboard the Norwegian Getaway as their Principal Musician. He played solo piano and vocals across multiple venues taking requests and hosting tributes to Elton John, Classic Rock, Country, and more! He also performed Beatlemania! A Tribute to the Beatles for a full house in the Illusionarium Theatre.

Alone, a new musical by Dean Tyler K debuted in concert at 54 Below to a sold-out crowd in June 2022 with an encore performance in July. Since then, Dean has been hard at work writing and revising the show. In Journey to Being Alone, hear the songs you loved from Alone along with some new additions and other original music by Dean Tyler K, as we explore the writing process through Dean's eyes. Performed by New York's greatest new talent, our show at The Green Room 42 was an amazing success!

The story of a young man moving to New York City and exploring his sexuality. He falls in love and decides it’s time to come out to his religious mother. It’s ultimately a story of reconciliation. We see how a mother’s love is often more powerful than religion or culture.
