An influencer comes home from a book launch party. A few drinks in, we watch as they continue to drink and spiral as they take us through their thoughts in real time. With mild fame and success comes a load of overthinking and for them, a lot of alcohol. When they have one too many and decide to hop on Instagram Live, things go from harmless play to career-threatening carelessness.

PETER: Mid/late 20’s, a pompous, gay influencer. A narcissist and an alcoholic who is trying their best.
This character can be played by any actor of any gender identity. For the sake of this initial version, the character's name is Peter, who uses he/him/his pronouns. Anything contained within {brackets} including name and pronouns may be changed to accommodate the actor.
Character must sing and play either guitar or piano. There are two original songs included. You do not need to be an expert musician, though, since the character is not and these songs happen in the context of the show.
SETTING: The whole play takes place in Peter's apartment, a luxury high-rise apartment in NYC. Well designed, well kept. 2023.
